Another place I like to go to when I head South of the border is Bellevue. It is a suburban town just East of Seattle. It is about 30 minutes away from Downtown Seattle.
Bellevue is a beautiful city. They were even ranked as the 4th best place to live in America. I think it is a great destination apart from Seattle. It is sleek, stylish, affordable, safe, and the hotels are all super clean and new.
Love shopping luxury? They’ve got the exclusive boutiques at thebravern.com: Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo to name a few. But if that’s not your type of shopping, there’s also Bellevue Square and Bellevue Collection: Forever21, Abercrombie and Fitch, 7 For All Mankind, and Victoria’s Secret.
I came here in the Winter a couple years ago with my boyfriend. We stayed in Bellevue square and had the opportunity to see the Snowflake parade through central Bellevue. It was festive and pretty. I loved it! Since that time, every now and then I come to Bellevue instead of Seattle to get away from the crowds and fast paced environment.
This time around we stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue Washington. The hotel is new and modern. After we settled into our hotel, we made our way to Koral bar & kitchen by Bradley & Mikel’s a restaurant just inside the hotel. They’ve got great prices for happy hour. About half the menu was discounted by 50%! The food was delicious too.
