Halloween Special: Hot Dog Mummies
Updated: Apr 13, 2020

Halloween is coming up, and I decided to make some Halloween treats to recognize this event. This is a super easy recipe that will be fun to make at home with your kids! All you’ll need are these ingredients: Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls, a bundle of hot dogs, and ketchup or mustard.
Halloween Special: Hot Dog Mummies
Serves 5
Ingredients:
1 can (8oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 10 hot dogs mustard or ketchup american cheese, cut in quarters (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the dough.
Separate the rectangles.
Cut each rectangle lengthwise into about 10 strips.
Optional - Add the quarter cheese slice around the hot dog and begin the next step.
Wrap the dough around each hot dog to appear like bandages. Stretch the dough slightly to help pull around the hot dog.
Place each finished hot dog mummy on the lined parchment paper.
Repeat until all the hot dogs are wrapped.
Spray the hot dog mummies lightly with cooking oil or brush with cooking oil.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the dough is lightly golden brown and the hot dogs are hot.
Finish off the face of the mummy by dabbing mustard or ketchup or both for the eyes on the face of the mummy. Enjoy!
