Hong Kong Style Macaroni Soup - 火腿通粉
Macaroni Soup is my favourite and my kids' favourite Hong Kong Style breakfast dish. It is nostalgic and comforting. I always use convenient ingredients found in my freezer.

Hong Kong Style Macaroni Soup - 火腿通粉
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Dried Macaroni
1/4 cup Frozen Corn, Peas or Carrots - whatever you have
1/4 cup Meat choice, sliced (Hot Dog, or Spam or Ham - whatever you have)
1 Can of Chicken Broth (about 2 cups)
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil (optional)
Directions:
1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain well.
2. Add the macaroni and the broth to the pot. Bring to a boil.
3. Add the meat choice, frozen corn, and optional sesame oil. Bring to a boil. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
